Tomorrow's history
This section of the recording of Culbokie history will be to showcase events that are considered to be important enough that they will eventually be considered as significant history in the life of the Community. Hopefully this will assist custodians and researchers of this history from having to delve back looking for material.
A useful reference point for upto date events taking place in Culbokie are the monthly email newsletters, the latest of which can be found here. There is a link to past issues.
2014 saw the start by the Culbokie Community Trust of the Glascairn Community Project and the CCT page can be accessed here. When in 2016 a start was made on developing the site it became identifed as Baluachrach (upper town). This page has concentrated on recording general views of the site. Regularly updated.

The opening of the Community Sharing Shed - October 2020.
The opening of the Culbokie Community Trust (CCT) Green space whilst the Community celebrated Halloween. This was considered so succesful that it was decided to make it a regular event. However, the weather was extremely unfavourable and so the Findon Hall was taken over at very short notice and a very small sample of photos have been added to the page's Gallery.
The Black Isle Food and Drink Festival initiated by CCT and held in the Findon Hall.
The official opening of the affordable housing development by Cairn Housing which took place in January 2023 can be viewed here.
