Gleanings - 31

Dr Young sums up his last "Gleanings".

"With the account of the Mackenzies of Gairloch we come to the end of the series of Gleanings  that began in 1981, though it is always possible there may be a P.S! A booklet entitled "The Parish of Urquhart and Logie Wester" has now been prepared, and should be ready for photocopying by the end of September. I am grateful that Miss Claire Mackintosh, who returned this summer after completing a course on Commersial Art and Book Illustration at Newcastle Polytechnic, has kindly agreed to do a pictorial cover."   

As can be seen, there was quite a challenge in scanning an original duplicated foolscap document to what is hopefully an acceptable format.
