"Times Deceased" - A chronicle of the Mackenzies of Scatwell and Suddie from the 17th to the 19th century. by Evelyn Mackenzie.

Evelyn Mackenzie was the daughter of Sir James Mackenzie, 7th Baronet, who died in 1900, and the book is based mostly on the Mackenzie Papers now in the British Museum. It is our hope to make this 120 page plus document available. The hard copy is currently in the ownership of the Macintyres, Findon Mains. It first came to our attention when a former minister of Resolis and Urquhart Church of Scotland, Dr. W Young gained access so that he could research the history of the church which he then serialised monthly as a Church Magazine. This will be a work in progress as we feel that it is worthy of being accessed through the web although its weakness is that the text can not be searched.
