Greenhill Steading/Farmhouse -Greenleonachs

As can be seen from the early OS map the steading was built before the farmhouse. Local opinion has it that the farmhouse was built as the family were no longer allowed to live in the steading with their animals. The inclusion of the artwork is due to the fact that the artist, Esther Armstrong, was the niece of the owner of the farmhouse at that time.
