Season 2019 to 2020

Unfortunately the season had to end prematurely due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We had just 3 weeks to go but, despite this and a reduction in membership, we had an enjoyable season.

Club nights are fun and friendly with more than a little banter. We are not the only club suffering loss of members. Membership seems to have peaks and troughs over the years and despite continued efforts we find it difficult to attract new members.

We were doing very well in the League with our team in a strong position prior to the shutdown. Only one match to play!  The skips did an excellent job in getting teams together with our depleted membership.

Club competitions were played in the usual enthusiastic manner and were most enjoyable. Due to the coronavirus outbreak no end of season dinner could be arranged and our annual trip to the Inverness Bowling Stadium had to be cancelled. The club meets on Wednesdays and Fridays, 7.30pm to 10.00pm, October through to April. New members welcome.
